The practical training on the use of CST Studio Suite software for designing magnetic components and devices in particle accelerators.

On February 9-10, 2023, the Linear Electron Accelerator Research Laboratory (PCELL) at the Physics of Plasma and Particle Research Center, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Thailand Excellence in Physics (ThEP) Center, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), and the Department of Physics and Materials Science organized a seminar on the application of electron accelerators and spectrophotocopiers in the infrared and terahertz ranges. Additionally, a practical training session was held on the use of CST Studio Suite software for designing magnetic components and devices in particle accelerators at the Computer Room, 2nd floor, Physics 2 Building, Department of Physics and Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The seminar aimed to provide participants with knowledge and understanding of using CST Studio Suite software. Participants gained increased interest and understanding of the nature of electromagnetic components, enabling them to apply their knowledge in designing relevant equipment.
