On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Research and Innovation Committee of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT) visited to PBP-CMU Electron Linac Laboratory, Department of Physics and Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University.
The purpose of the visit was to study and monitor the progress of research projects focused on advancing the nation's high-level science and technology, particularly in the development of cutting-edge laser technologies. The delegation was welcomed and guided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jitlada Thongbai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jatuporn Saisut, who provided insights into the applications of free-electron lasers and femtosecond lasers for next-generation scientific and technological development.
